music monday: pet shop boys and derby

Pet Shop Boys have a new video out and it features derby. That is a video with two things I love. I can get behind that. This past weekend was the Star of Texas Bowl, a derby tournament held in my city with Gotham, Windy City, Bay Area and the Texies battling it out. For two days I was at the convention center (6+ hours a day) eating terrible and expensive food while seeing some of the best teams in the states bout. I had a lot of fun a learned a lot.

I had a pretty great view of the bouts and took lots of pics, a recap of my derby filled weekend will be posted tomorrow.
Right now I’m furiously working on the re-branding of Robo Roku before I leave for Los Angeles to participate in Renegade Craft Fair there. I really love vending at that show. I’ve been taking lots of pics of the getting ready stages and new packaging, I will be posting them this week on the blog. I can’t wait to cool off in the wonderful weather of California and see my best friend, and several other friends I love that live in LA…and go to Disneyland! I will certainly be sharing my adventures with you on the blog, Instagram and Twitter.
